The Best Marketing Strategy Ever

Posted by IMer | Posted in Internet Marketing | Posted on 12-10-2011

What exactly is the best marketing strategy ever?

E-mail Marketing!! Yes that is correct email selling.

Building a listing of e-mail customers could be the single most powerful thing you can do for your web business.

In my view e-mail marketing will never die out. Why? Because you need an
e-mail to set up accounts for nearly everything.1. To set up an online bank account.

2. To set up a Netflix account.
3. To open up a Facebook account.

And almost any other account you can think about.

Even the major firms understand the power of e-mail promoting.

When was the last time you bought something at Macy’s or Bestbuy and
they didn't ask for your email?

Then when Father’s day or any major holiday comes round you get an email
from these firms with Special Father’s Day Sales!

If you're not building your list of customers you are shooting yourself in the foot.

Below I'm going to cover what is needed to commence building your e-mail list.

What's wanted to make a list properly.

A. The first thing you will need is a domain name.

This is going to be related to the niche you are opting to enter or if you
are desiring to brand yourself along with your business you can always
use www.YourName.com

There are two main places to get site names for nearly $10 a piece.

Godaddy.com and Namecheap.com. I actually like using Namecheap
just because they offer a load less upsells from the begining of the sale to
the end which saves a lot of time.

One thing both offer is discount codes. You can do a simple google search
for “namecheap chit code for [enter month and year]” The chit code will
save you about $1 per domain. The savings may not appear like much now
but once you begin buying multiple domains you will observe the savings.

As the old saying goes a penny saved is a penny earned.

B. Hosting.

Once you've your domain name picked out you'll need to buy web hosting
. I seriously recommend using Hostgator.com. They are very reliable, have
excellent consumer service and very cheap. You can get their baby package
for approximately $8/month.

If you don't know what hosting is it’s bascially where all of the files for your internet site
will be stored.

C. Autoresponder.
Having an autoresponder is the most powerful tool when building a list.
Quite frankly it Cannot be done without one. This is HOW you will collect your
e-mails.

An auto-responder service is what permits you to create all of the capture forms you
will need. A capture form is fundamentally where you “Enter Your Name And Email.”
I am about sure you have seen a capture form before (aka opt-in form).

An autoresponder also lets you set up mails that'll be sent
at specific time intervals stipulated by you. For instance you can write
an email to be despatched to your email list and schedule it to be despatched 2 hours
from now, 7 days from now, or even 3 months from now. However you
set it up. Here is where your money is made.

I highly recommend using Aweber.com they are terribly amateur friendly
and easy to work with. An easy account with Aweber will run you about
$19/month BUT worth every penny once you understand the power of
having your own email list.

If you're on a restricted budget Mailchimp.com is a FREE service but I can’t say much
about their service since I have never used them.

D. Your FREE pressing offer.

Here is where the wizardry occurs. You will need something of high price
so people feel like they “need” what you've got to offer and are prepared to
trade their email for your free gift.

An easy method to come up with your free gift is to contemplate what problem
folks are having in your niche and make a product to solve their problem.
This is in the shape of a PDF, Video Coaching series, Audio Recording,
Software, for example.

This allows you to straight away set yourself up as an expert in your field in the
eyes of your subscribers. It could also build instant trust; both which are HUGE
later on down the line when you're endorsing a product to your email list.

A small number of you could be thinking your present has to be this 30-45 page PDF or a
complete 20 video training series. It Doesn't! It can be a short 7-10 page
e-book or 3-5 videos Packed with price.

Price weighs heavier then length in this aspect.

E. Squeeze Page.

Once you've your FREE product it's currently time to set up your capture page.

I'm a enormous fan of WordPress and creating squeeze pages. With
Wordpress. I use a theme called OptimizePress.

OptimizePress is a totally customizable theme that creates high changing,
awfully pro capture pages, sales pages, product launch pages with in
15 minutes. Literally!

Everything is “click to activate.”

If you want to save plenty of time I would highly recommend picking up a
copy of OptimizePress.

There's another crucial step when it comes to building your list.
That's to grow a relationship with your list! Earn their trust.

Here is where many will blow it! Give value and additional tips and
tricks to help your subscribers BEFORE you ever attempt to sell anything!
Worth them as your customer and do everything in your power to actually
help them.

A way to see what to do and what NOT to do is join other
gurus e-mail list in your niche and see what they are doing. Model the ones that
grab your attention and supply price and learn from those who
only spam you with affiliate offers.

This could make or break your business! If you come off as a spammer not
only will you not make any sales but you will get A Lot of folks to
unsubscribe from your list.

When you start building your list and develop a great relationship with your list
you will be capable of making an income on demand by simply sending an email to
your customers. That's when things get Truly FUN!

So again building an email list and developing that relationship is the strongest
thing you can do for your business!
